Photography is something I've always loved doing. It's not just a hobby of mine. I wish to do something with it when I graduate at some point. I prefer doing Digital photography more than traditional photography. I've not always been a very patient person, and I like having the comfort of knowing that I have the pictures on a memory card, rather than just on a roll of film. Anything could happen. I also like being able to alter the picture if I want, to make it look however I want it to look.
When it comes to black & white, or color photography (digital wise) I generally prefer black & white. It speaks to me more. I think that it gives people more to wonder about the picture since it has no color. They use their imagination more than they would if it was color. I love them both, but black & white is just more appealing to me. When people look at my art work, I want it to speak to them, give them some kind of emotion that they can relate to, or make them wonder and give them curiousity.
I like shooting people, and that's usually what I would prefer to do, but a lot of times, it takes a lot to get the exact picture you want, and people need to move. So that makes it hard to get them exactly how you want. I tend to shoot a lot of pictures of my 2 nephews. When it comes to pictures of kids that young, I can usually get a better picture if i just shoot.
